Here'a a new range of garden railway buildings suitable for both G and 16 mm scales. Details of our initial range of five buildings are shown below. We have made the buildings large enough to be suitable for 16mm locomotives and wagons without them being too large for G scale.
The buildings are available as "plan packs" - which include a comprehensive plan, all the doors and windows needed for the building, and a sheet of glazing for the windows, or as "kits" - which additionally include pre-cut pieces of "moisture-proof" mdf. The idea is to provide you with a building that can be customised to suit your individual requirements. No two buildings will necessarily look exactly the same!
The plans are straightforward and can be adapted easily to suit your needs. As with our popular dollhouse plans, they have been tried out in practice a number of times to make sure we have the details right. The windows are available with 4, 6 or 12 panes so you can easily modify the appearance of your building. Each window has a removable rear glazing insert, which makes glazing simple. The doors and windows are also easy to paint, and are available separately if required.
For those who don't have the woodworking facilities for cutting out material, or would prefer to have the pieces available ready-cut, we offer the buildings as easy-to-assemble kits using "moisture-proof" MDF. A set of kits has been assembled and left outside to test their durability in the English weather. For further information please contact us.

If you have any suggestions for other buildings, we would be interested in hearing from you. Currently in the planning stage are a larger station, a lineside cottage, which could also be used as a dollhouse, and an American style "depot".
